The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

A vintage map featuring an aerial view over the borough of Windber, Somerset County, Pennsylvania. This detailed map from the public domain was drawn by T.M. Fowler and published by T.M.Fowler & James B.Moyer in 1900. This reproduction image, which also includes a list of buildings of note, has been restored, converted to cool blue and has hand blended textures.
